Our New Appointment Booking System from Tuesday 17th June

We are moving to a new appointment system from Tuesday 17th June using a system called Accurx Total Triage.
All GP appointment requests  and admin queries such as requesting a sick note or following up on test results etc — will now be made via a short online form. Your request will be reviewed by our GP team, and we will respond with the most appropriate next step.

💬 What is Accurx Total Triage?

Accurx Total Triage is a new way for patients to contact the surgery. You fill out a quick online form telling us about your problem or question, and our team will review it and respond appropriately. It helps us manage demand safely and efficiently.


🕐 When can I submit a request?

You can submit a request during our normal opening hours, and in some cases even outside them. Requests are reviewed during working hours and we aim to get back to you as soon as possible. In most cases this will be the same day.


👩‍⚕️ Will I still be able to see a doctor in person?

Yes — if your issue needs a face-to-face appointment, we’ll arrange one. This system helps us make sure that in-person appointments are used where clinically necessary, and that other problems can be dealt with more quickly by phone or message.


📝 What kinds of things can I use it for?

You can use the system to contact us about:

Medical issues:

  • New or ongoing health concerns

  • Follow-up after previous appointments

  • Medication queries

Administrative issues:

  • Requesting a fit (sick) note

  • Asking about referrals or letters

  • Following up on test results

  • Requesting a copy of your records

  • Changing your contact details

  • Enquiries about forms (e.g. insurance, travel, DVLA)

  • General questions about the practice


📞 What if I can’t use the internet?

Don’t worry — if you’re unable to complete the online form yourself, our reception team can help you fill it in over the phone or at the desk. Nobody will be excluded from care because they can’t access the system online.


📲 How do I access the form?

You’ll find a link to the request form clearly labelled on our website homepage from Tuesday 17th June. It’s quick to complete — usually just 2–3 minutes — and it helps us direct your query to the most appropriate person.
