National GP Survey Results 2026

We are pleased to publish the results of the 2026 GP Patient Survey for Widcombe Surgery.

Firstly, we would like to thank everyone who took the time to complete the survey. Patient feedback is extremely important to us and helps us understand what we are doing well, as well as where we can continue to improve.

The 2026 survey received responses from 92 patients, representing approximately 1.2% of our registered patient population. Whilst this is a relatively small sample, every response is carefully considered alongside other sources of patient feedback and operational performance data, including the NHS Friends and Family Test, compliments, complaints, NHS App feedback and patient correspondence. This helps us ensure that any improvements we make are proportionate, evidence-based and reflect the wider experience of our patients.

We are delighted that the survey highlights many positive aspects of the care we provide, particularly the confidence patients have in our clinicians and the quality of care they receive during appointments. We would like to thank our entire team for their continued commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care.

The survey also identified some opportunities to further improve patients' experience when accessing our services. Over the coming weeks, we will review the findings in more detail and develop a proportionate action plan focusing on these areas. Once agreed, this will be published on our website so that patients can see the actions we are taking in response to the feedback received.
