Read more about Deb Edgecombe
Deb is our dedicated Care Co-ordinator here at Widcombe Surgery. She plays a key role in supporting patients with long-term health conditions by ensuring they are invited for their annual reviews — including conditions such as diabetes and hypertension.
Deb also works closely with patients to promote routine health screening and preventative care. This includes invitations for cervical screening, adult and child immunisations, and NHS Health Checks. Her work helps us ensure that our patients stay up to date with important aspects of their ongoing health and wellbeing.
Reception and Admin Team
Our friendly and efficient Reception and Admin Team are the first point of contact for patients at Widcombe Surgery. They help manage appointment bookings, process paperwork, handle patient queries, and support the day-to-day running of the practice. Their work is essential in keeping the surgery organised and ensuring patients receive the help and information they need quickly and professionally.
Secretaries
Our Secretarial Team provides vital behind-the-scenes support to the clinical staff and patients at Widcombe Surgery. They manage referrals, process medical reports, and handle correspondence with hospitals and other healthcare providers. The team ensures that communication is accurate, timely, and well-coordinated, helping to maintain continuity of care for all our patients.
